Why we need a militant mindset to drive change for mental health care

On this episode, we speak with Craig Kramer. Craig is the Mental Health Ambassador and Chair of the Global Campaign on Mental Health for Johnson and Johnson.

Craig wasn't always an active advocate for mental health. It wasn't until one new years morning when he received an unexpected phone call. He learned that his daughter attempted to kill herself by suicide. This phone call sent him down a spiral of emotions and led him down a path he never thought he'd go down.

During this episode, we talk about…

  • The emotions that he felt during that phone call.

  • The harrowing statistics around mental health that affect children and teens.

  • Dimensions of wellbeing and mental health and how the remedy is most often more than just meditation.

  • The movement that Craig is leading globally at J&J by forming an employee resource group around Mental Health.

  • Why we may have more of a militancy mindset to create faster and lasting change within mental healthcare as a whole.

  • and much more…
